Publican ?Pub Personality? Facebook Competition | Dublin Does ...

Competition Objective:

? To drive pub Facebook posting of really strong social content as part of the DDF campaign.
? We want YOU, the publican, to start thinking about the best way to bring the personality of your pub (and what is great about it) alive on Facebook using the DDF page and your own Facebook page to drive conversation.

Criteria to Win:

We will judge the two strongest winners as having:
??Created really strong consumer engagement online using creative posts on your Facebook page and the DDF Facebook page.
???Strong use of photo and video posting on your Facebook page and the DDF Facebook page.
???Clear use of point of sale (DDF) in your pub, demonstrated by posting photos on your Facebook page.
???The winner will be a pub that goes the extra mile and really starts the conversation amongst Facebook users.

Prizes:

1. Intimate gig with well-known Irish singer/ songwriter Mundy, famed for his version of Galway Girl with Sharon Shannon.
2. Some seriously funny banter with Republic of Telly?s Bernard O?Shea

Number of Winners:

? Two winners will be chosen

Judging Period:

? Judging will take place between Friday 2nd March to Friday 23rd March 2012
? This allows us to assess improved postings by pubs across 4 consecutive weeks
? The prize will be awarded on 26th March 2012 by the judging panel which comprises:

Sarah Sherry, Cybercom
Chris Chapman, Modern Green
Valerie Rice, Valerie Rice & Associates

Key Timings:

? Tuesday 28th March Circular to LVA members (Bernie)
? Tuesday 28th March Reporter Briefing (Agencies)
? Wednesday 29th March Pub measurement begins (Cybercom)
? Monday 26th March Judging & announcement (Agencies)
? Friday 30th March Publican prizes activated (Edelman)
